Austin Nystrom, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and therapist whose work is grounded in holistic care, growth-mindset, and community connection. Drawing on his past experience as a pastor, Austin brings a unique blending of therapeutic practice and relational leadership to support young people in navigating life’s transitions and building positive mental health.

At Rooted Future, Austin partners in the design and delivery of social-emotional-learning (SEL) curriculum and leads youth mental-health workshops, helping high school students cultivate self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful relationships. He offers a warm, empowering environment where adolescents can explore challenge and change with clarity, practice concrete wellness tools, and strengthen their sense of belonging.
